I have had a shit year, made redundant, no money, ect, ect, you just have to think that no matter how bad your day is someone else is having a worse day. keep youe chin up girl it will get better. well i hope it does for you.

BF Dumping you - Its HIS loss and not yours. think of all the sayings about fish in the sea etc
Job - If you get made redundant, things financially get tougher - but you should see it as more time to spend with your dad as material possessions can not take the place of him!
Your Dad - Spend as much time as you can with him, it may seam a negative thing to say - but you will never regret spending too much time with him if even if he lives another 50 years, but always regret those moments you didnt share with him!

As for your now ex-boyfriend spitting up with you
as I see it its his loss, BUT i wouldnt go burning his stuff as you need to be the bigger person in a situation like this

I hope your Dad is better soon. People can live with COPD for a long time, im sure after some treatment in hospital he'll be feeling good again.
If you're worried about you job, start having a look for what else is out there/what might you wanna do. Its not nice having to leave somewhere you like but it could be an exciting opportunity-new things and all that.

My dad suffers from COPD, he was diagnosed back in 2005 but not told till 2006. To cut a long story short he has to be on Oxygen for 18hrs a day(sometimes more) and take quite a few tablets every day warfarin etc. did you ever notice your dads lips going blue? as this is due to it.

This is probably the case. He isn't sure if he wants it to be over so is leaving his stuff at yours so he has an excuse to come back for a chat, or he just doesn't care about it. Leave him to think about it and try and avoid contact for a while. Give him a few weeks and if he hasn't been for his things, send him an ultimatum, either come and get it or it'll be out in the street for him to collect when he feels like it, or in the bin.
