because surely a cossie is a classic?and lets be honest in general the people who know and want a cossie are generally getting older(say a average age of late 20,s /mid 30's)surely its at the stage where it can be more and more featured in classic ford and your mag needs to look at the modern rs's more?

Just my thought on it anyway

Yes it is a Classic in many ways, but as I said there isn't a sufficiently big market to make a mag just for the new stuff. Plus many CF readers would be appauled by there being a 'modern' in their mag.

The choice of feature cars currently works well for both titles, and neither me nor Si would do anything which could potentially reduce sales, so Cossies are staying with me

i think mk1 & 2 escorts, capris, mk1 & 2 fiestas, granardas etc. as the classics really

i think the guides they do in classic ford are amazing, how to weld, panel mending, how to make rally stands, engine fitting guides

i dont buy it, simply because other parts of the mag dont interest me (the cars mainly) but the guides are amazing.

i generally buy fastford, but do get fast car, total vauxhall etc depending on the cars in the mag that month

I have a massive pile of old car mags, some do tend to be repeated articles and feature cars. Seen some cars at shows that deserve a feature, but perhaps the owner wants to stay private. Some how to features are great.

Things such as the 3 door Cosworth have appeared in Buyer's Guides in Classic Ford, but not as feature cars. Which I think is right really.

i can work this out !! mk1 fiesta stopped production in 1983... mk2 granada stopped production in 1986.... capri's finished in 1988 ....... mk5 tina finished in 1983 these are all classed as classics in classic ford's eyes........ but they was all made whilst the mk1 sierra was in production
