right guys need some advice. please dont shoot me down straight away lol. i have a mk6 (i think) escort estate with a 1.4 cvh. i was building a zetec turbo for it but have lost all interest. so want to put an erst engine in instead which im hoping will be a lot easier.
can i put an mfi engine in even though mine is efi? or do i need to convert said engine to efi? and what else will i need? any help appreciated.

mk6s didnt have cvhs mate (as far as i know), post a pic up of the car and engine and someone will identify it for you

and i think itd be easier (and better) to use EFI, so a complete fiesta rst engine may be easier to use

it has the mk6 front end. on an N reg. did they do the mk5b on the estate as they did on the normal escorts?

i had a mk 6 escort with the 1.4 cvh engine in with p/s and on efi

ive got a mk6 van and put a fiesta turbo lump in it

They did do a 1.4 cvh in a mk6 escort.I would use EFI for your turbo engine.I think its alot better than the mfi.

mk5bs use a mk6 style rear end, not front iirc!?

and id deffo go with efi, much more refined from wahts been said on here
