Default Escort Diesel Van leaking fuel injectors?

My work Van is a Escort TD on a 'T' reg and it failed its MOT today because of a fuel leak.
Looks like two of the injectors are leaking as there is a puddle of fuel in the recess they sit in! lol

Is this a common fault, is it the injectors that needs changing, or is there a seal of some sort that can be replaced?

Cheers!

Odds on it won't be the injectors that are leaking - It will be the cotton coated leak-off pipes that are.

Easy to change - takes about 5 mins tops and you can either use some 3mm fuel hose or propper leak off pipes - doesn't matter either way (but the 3mm fuel hose is cheaper) as they are not under any pressure just the fact they perish with age.

Yeah i've already changed those because as you say they had perished, when I dry it off and watch it come back it looks like it coming from the bottom of the injectors??

They have a copper washer under each one, with age these go hard and it leaks under pressure(combustion).
You can either fit new ones, or just heat up your existing ones with a blowtorch till glowing red, this will re-anneal(soften) them.
