I had a packard bell pc for years, it just kept going, although the fan was noisy as fook, when it eventually did stop working after about 6 years, i had to take the side of it, it was a lot worse than those pics, you couldnt see the parts for dust/shite, seriously, cleaned the dust off, smacked it a few times, hey presto.

talking of coffe, when my mate was working the it call centre helpdesk at some compnay few years ago, some woman called him to say that she'd spilt a cup of coffee on her keyboard and what was she supposed to do about it
he said that all she needed to do was to unplug the keyboard and wash it out under a cold tap and then leave it to dry out and if this didn't fix it he'd send out a new keyboard
a few hours later, he was called into his boss's office to ask why he'd told some posh woman to wash her laptop unde the kitchen sink

no surprise there!
it's rotten under those desks.
you find some interesting stuff though...
most notable ones were back in the old Exco office in Cannon St...
8 grand in an envelope... which was returned to the rightful owner i might add
and
a pair of (used) vibrating love eggs.

thank fuck i don't have to get involved in that any more!
