Default Off to Dublin!

I'm off there for 4 days at the end of next week for a mates 40th birthday thing and were on the look out for some decent places to go of an evening and some interesting time fillers for during the day....

Basically there's 8 of us going (all chaps ) and none of us have been before but all fancied a taste of some Irish lol

So any suggestions on places to eat, drink & dance?

Were staying in the Abbott Lodge Guesthouse, 87/88 Lower Gardiner street, D1 Dublin.

Whats the nightlife like? Any good clubs and maybe **cough** Gentlemans clubs **cough** lol

Looking to hire a limo as a surprise to collect us from the airport and take us to the hotel also

i'm going in december for a long weekend for a xmas drink with old friends.

can i ask where your staying mate? is it cheap and cheerful or a nice hotel? i'm just after a place to rest my head but Ireland doesn't seem to have an alternative to a travelodge or ibis etc etc. i've just found privately run hotels which to me seem reasonable, but its more than i want to pay

ooh, and why not do the guinness factory tour? i want to do that.

If your looking for hotels I stayed at the Grand Canal Hotel which was nice. Got a bar there which is ok (not for a whole evening but not a bad place to start).

Just find Temple Bar, like a mini strip.

Also there was this mad pub down there (i'll try get you the name) but when instead of a kicking out time they had a trap door that lead to a club under the pub in what i can only assume was a massive celler. Shit was off the hook!

Day time activites, the guiness factory is always good plus the bar provides good views.
