Default cosworth head cc's

just a general rough measurement but whats the average cosworth head cc's its been while since i measured one, just roughly not arsed about how many skims etc

i seam to remember somthing abour 60cc's

and while we are on it - anyone know the std piston dish cc's

I seem to have the figure of around 67cc in my head for some reason Mark!

From mem but would need to be at work to check it, Heads have ranged from 44 to 50cc depending on skims and work on chamber, and pistons 24cc rings a bell.

Actually, ignore that as I think thats more like a CVH figure!

Cheers guys i had a guess at 48mm so not far out really, was just checking a differing rod length

4x4 head was 50.4 brand new according to cosworth, the bowl in a standard mahle piston im sure is around 18-20 ring any bells ?

Mine was cc'd (all matched) to 54cc - late 2wd - this was on as little cleanup as possible.

Mahle 7.5:1 with reliefs were measured at 18cc.

My head's just come back from a rebuild at 46cc. That's a 2wd that's had a couple of skims and no chamber work...
