Its 500K that you need to invest in a business if I recall correctly to "buy your way in"

Can remember being surprised at quite how much it was.

Well then post the facts. The 500 was never imported. It was just visiting. And yes there are a number of RS200s in North America. 15 were imported into Canada, one remains in Vancouver.

And yes, Canada has a 15 year rule Long with very lax importation rules on motorsport shells. There are a number of hand built Escos here that are non-vin motorsport shells. Now that the Escos is 15 plus it's easy as pie.

Each state does have a 'lottery' as well where someone (or 10 I believe) are picked from a hat and they autpmatically get the card. I had dinner with someone from work last night i'm in Botswana with and was telling her about this, she worked for BP and her and her boss (at the time was the charman of the firm) were setting up shop in Cleveland, Ohio. He had to go through the rigmoral of getting a visa at the same time she did but she was picked out of a hat and got the card!!!!!! She's a moose though so definitely not gonna be marrying her!!!!

There is no easy way to get into the US. My friends ask me all the time how they can work out here and I tell them the same thing every time. Move to Vancouver, Canada because you'll never get a work VISA for the US.

The company I work for is a UK based company but have a office in Dallas. I got a work VISA via the company which are now sorting out my green card.

Canada Is the place to go ... Although I much prefer the USA ..

Quickest way is a Temp work VISA but I wouldnt hold my breath at the moment for one.

Skilled Immigration VISA is the way forward for the residency cards. (9 month and counting for me) But Ive lived over there in the past and have credientials .

yeah that's right. my parents moved other to florida in june this year, my dad put 500k into a 'up n coming' development area in seattle. the 'investers' as they were called were stakeholders in there company that now owns a hotel. the hotel has now been leased for 25 years to a big chain and thru this provided the 10 + jobs required for the visa. they sold up and moved in with me while they applied for the visa , longest 18 MONTHS of my life
