Default fiesta rst filler cap restoration, inner panel name?

hey, i was wondering if any people have any pictures on here of doing a fill carp repair (welding in the repair sections as my one has a bit of rott there which i want removed ) a guide or photos would be much appreciated . ive heard theres a sponge type thing behind the panels which causes the rust? i want it done and done once so if anyone has any tips to help prevent this they would be much appreciated, cheers

To do it properly the whole 1/4 replacement is a must IMO.

cheers stu , what did you do with the inner section? looking at them pics id imagine it would rust back out again in time? (because you cant get to the inside to treat it?) not a criticism, but a genuine query?

right..... gave the fez quarter the chop the other day and now it clearly shows why they rott, they have insulation stuck to the inside of the inner filler surround which sweats . so now i can see the clear picture im looking to change the rear quarter panel instead and be done with it as theres a little bit of rust on arch but worth doing the quarter and having no filler then . anyone know what the inner panel is called or if they can be bought as id like to replace it, cheers
