dump valve.can i fit it to the intercooler

Default dump valve.can i fit it to the intercooler
hi guys

ive fitted a cossie engine into my mk2 escort

after fitting the rs500 intercooler and swedish plenum

i have had to mod the hose to fit but i dont think i can fit the dump valve on the hose now

can i weld a mount onto the intercooler insted???

it needs to be on the fron face of the intercooler
looking at the pic above between the th mount and the out let hose
or i could mount in facing down on the hose.?????
