Whats your budget? Can be done, all depends on the cost of upgrading everything and making it fit.

Thats one of those really stupid statements people always come out with, when in reality there are lots of things that arent possible even if you have lots of money.

 

not thought about a budget tbh,

the focus will be finished shortly, and i'm just thinking of another project,
just like the idea lol

but keep it looking std as possible,
that would be awsome,

radiator and stuff in back to make room up front i suppose,
just tint windows so peple dont see lol

tune it to about 400ish ponnies, nothing too dramatic tuning wise,
but the power to weight should be awsome,

I bet the shell itself on the 106 isnt much more than 100kgs lighter than an evo shell.

 

Would be an interesting progress to follow and to see how it all goes together although its not something i would want to do myself, if anything I would rather put it in a different car.

 

I'd sooner do a s2000 lump in a mk2 escort, heard nothing but good things about the honda lumps.

 

why not just buy an evo 6 and drive that around at 400bhp.
lot of work and a hell of alot of money and two ways to look at it, either a bad handling, ugly evo with bad brakes or look at it as a pug 106 with a loud exhaust. lol

 

Sure ive seen an evo engine in a 106... it was a while ago though

but it might of been a clio lol..

Reyland did some work on a 106 with YB and 4x4 running gear in it IIRC
