Default Innovate xd-16, problems !!!!!!!

Got the complete stand alone afr kit , xd-16 and it does not work.

I bought it from a guy in ireland, brand new in the box a couple of years

ago.

When I wired it all into my car, it would light up and go through the initial

calibration set up, then when you turned it off, and restarted ,it would go

through all of that again until eventually it just locked up and just comes

up with a load of dashes !

Cost a small fortune to send it back to innovate and just get em to look

at it, so any one over here specialise in them ?

Cheers,puddy

Yeah,I did have a look on the forum, but there does not seem to be much

response to the questions asked.

Maybe I will join up and copy and paste this post.

Just thought there might be some one on this side of the pond that could

help, they do seem to be quite popular.

Looking around the forum, there appear to be some pretty pissed off

customers !

Did you calibrate it in air before you fitted the sensor in the exhaust?

They are a bit of a nightmare to get right, but worth persisting. You got the little IN/OUT plugs in the right place? As focusV8 said, it needs heater calibration and free-air calibration too.
