i dont think i've ever heared anyone contradict themselves on t.v. as much as cowell has since his xfactor rubbish started. its pretty much all the judges but he does it to the point of a mad drunk man.

It's not a fix, he's done it to keep the rating high. Any publicity is good publicity and this will be in the papers, and everyone will talk about it.
