I hav a 94 mk5 escort wit d 1.3hcv engine. I want to put an rs turbo onto it an a lightened crank shaft,flywheel bore ou d cylinders and put in pistons and rings out of a zetec engine maby 1.6 or 1.8. Although i dont think the top or bottom end of the small block will take the pressure. I was wondering what other bigger carb engine i cud drop into it. I dont want to put in the 1.6 or 1.8 sierra an i dont think the 2.0 t.cam engine will fit? i dont want to put in a fuel injected engine i want to keep it as a carb engine

what engine cud i use and wud it be suitable for a turbo? or wud it be possible to turbo the 1.3 engine without either the turbo or the pistons blowin?
