didnt think he had done enough to win in germany.but he was fast and made the big fella look terrible-just wish he had gone for him earlier like he did in the last round....
he did say his hand was damaged in the early rounds though-congratulations to haye and onto better fights.
must say though,this is the first fight i wish i hadnt paid Ł14.99 for.......

Just left the arena! Well done haye. Boring fight apart from last round... Haye stuck to his game plan well though. Going to go and find the new champ now!!! And get pissed!

Must of been a mega atmosphere Lee.
Wactched the fight in a bar, if it wasn't for the last round Valuez would of won. If Haye done what he done in the last round in the first round, it would of been an awesome fight.

What dannyblackpool said was spot on... He had a gameplan to beat valuev and it was very different to how hay normally fights... But he stuck to it and won even if it was a bit frustrating as it was obvious that haye could have knocked him out BUT it would have been risky... He did right thing to win. Also haye has stamina problems so he couldn't go too mad too soon. He paced the fight brilliantly

it was a shit fight and should have been a draw. I wouldn't have been happy being crowned the winner, if Haye had got his grove on in the 8th - then yea, he'd have deserved it, but all he did was run round the ring. It was never going to be a conventional - Haye did very well, but he didn't do enough.

Haye's constantly quoted as having stamina problems, but he didnt appear to suffer from any tonight, so he's obviously been training hard, great result, although a KO would have been a more definitive win, I never like wins on points, always open to interpretation, especially when its not even unanymous.
Was a good chance to show how smart he can box in terms of tailoring his approach to match the opponent.
He was saying before the fight he wants to unify the belts if he won, so lets see if he gets the chance to try.
