HAY ALL OK JUST WANT 2 LET YOU ALL KNOW I AM GOING 2 BE DROPING AN RS TURBO LUMP INTO AN XR3I,THE ENGINE ISNT IN CAR YET SO I AM GOING 2 PAINT THE BLOCK JUST WANTED TO KNOW WOULD IT BE OK TO REMOVE THE TURBO OIL FEED PIPE THATS AT THE BACK OF THE BLOCK,AND ALSO DOES THE TURBO MANIFOLD NEED 2 BE TORQUED DOWN/THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE HELP

You've lost me there? You want to remove the turbo oil feed pipe

Everything wants torquing down ideally, look in a haynes manual to get the correct torque figure

You can remove the turbo oil feed pipe however, you may aswell keep your 3i engine in there as the turbo wont last very long if you do

OK SORRY THATS MY FAULT I WILL EXPLAIN,YOU KNOW HOW ON AN ESCORT RS TURBO ENGINE IT HAS A OIL FEED FROM THE TURBO TO THE BACK OF THE BLOCK?(SOMETIMES BRAIDED)I WAS WONDERING IF I COULD SAFELY REMOVE THIS AS I AM GOING 2 PAINT THE BLOCK,THE REASON I WANT 2 REMOVE THIS IS SO I CAN REMOVE THE TURBO FROM THE ENGINE I GOT THE OTHER PIPES OF OK JUST WASNT SURE ABOUT THIS 1?ALSO WHY WILL THE XR3I ENGINE LAST LONGER?I AM GOING TO PUT THE PIPE BACK ON AFTER THE BLOCK HAS BEEN PAINTED.HOPE YOU ALL UNDERSTAND THANKS

Well then yes of course it can be removed it shouldnt cause you any problems
