Default advise please on fitting my new small turbo inlet.

just have a couple of questions..

i currently have a 4x4 inlet off a saph..

will my 4x4 throttle housing bolt straight on?

what size thread do i need to tap for the air temp sensor, in the plenum cover, on the face...

what gasket do i need to bolt the throttle housing on, big turbo or small?

will my 4x4 throttle arm fit on this plenum?

is the plenum cover to trumpet section gasket all the same on all cossies?

cheers

will need a small turbo gasket. think it should bolt straight on though. Throttle bracket and gasket should be the same. If you need a small turbo throttle body I have a spare.

You can use the 4x4 throttle body (and it's easier if you do) but you'll have to drill the 4 mounting holes out from 6mm to 8mm - you can't get this wrong, as the holes are partly 8mm already - just have a look at the throttle body when you take it off and you'll see what I mean.

If you use a standard 4x4 gasket between the throttle body and plenum, offer it up to the plenum and trim away any excess material if there is any.

The air temp sensor thread is M14 x 1.5

thanks for your repleys...

so am i right in thinking the 4 holes in the 4x4 throttle housing need to be drilled out? is this because the thread holes on the small turbo inlet are ment for m8 bolts...??

the elbow on the small turbo inlet looks bigger, and the 4x4 throttle body is smaller, so which gasket are people running? as either gasket wont really suit?

also are you 100% sure its m13 1.5 that needs to be threaded for the air temp sensor?

what gaskets do people recommend for the inlet? cosmetic?

cheers

that's strange - I looked at my post after submitting it, noticed I had hit a 3 instead of a 4, and edited my post and saved it, but it hasn't changed

the air temp sensor is M14 x 1.5

the ST plenum bolts are indeed M8

I used a 2wd / 4x4 gasket between the throttle body and plenum, and it wasn't far off at all
