He has reconnected all the hoses hasn't he?
Sounds like excess air getting in and wrecking the mixture.

Yes although it would have a serious restriction on induction and exhaust...

Dac, it's a brand new turbo came out the box spins freely and is boosting up BUT when he goes to pull away it trying to stall all the time and runs very rough,I'm only listening while he's on the phone to me.

He's very inpatience so they tried to do it while their g/friends were spending money @ the Sales

Cossies will drive perfectly (with no boost ) with all the boost pipes removed so not that.

There obv somthing obvious hes buggered...

exhaust or inlet almost totally blocked.

or some sensor pipe/wire broke.

even with MAP sensor or FPR pipe off it will still drive "ok", not as bad as mentioned here...

putting on any size turbo wont affect the normal drive on a cossie

Yes disconnect the actuator, should run OK with no boost. If that doesn't work then its not turbo related....

pulled the pipe off the dump valve is a possibility, as is somehow disconnecting the map sensor feed pipe.

Another DIY job well done

Alvyn, you said that he had to rotate the turbo from 4x4 to 2wd did he do that correctly as it easy to bolt on the back housing bent so the it stops the turbo wheel from spining

U only need to undo the 6x 13m bolts slightly and rotate the comp housing to where it needs to be so the actuator lines up for the 2w/d u DONT even need to separate the turbo!

ps
the turbo IS spining as I said in the 2nd post
