Anyone help, Dendritic Growth??
Doing my college homework. Got a question that asks
"Explain the term Dendritic Growth and how the rate of such growth can affect the grain structure and grain size in a metal"
I know what the term means and understand it, but how does the RATE of the growth affect the grain structure and size? Is it that the faster the metal is frozen the larger the grain?
