Default longest ongoing project car

having just seen Christian and Beccys post about having been working on the rst for 10 and a half years made me wonder who has the longest project on the go?
I dont mean some unfinished car sat in a garage untouched for 20 years, I mean being used and moified continually (without hope of ever ending)

I've been messing with Hyacynth ( my sierra ) for 10 years, but I'm probably a lightweight, anyone go further than that?

And how different is your car?

then...

now....

Dingy with his Mk2, Ollie with the Red S1, I'd imagine theres a few.

I've had my XR4Ti since 1992 and have been modding it ever since. I'm on version 3.0 now and have been considering rebadging it XR500.

Hope to keep my Saff just as long.

Started on mine in July 1996 it was 330bhp at that time. When it reappears in early 2010 it will not be modded further I promise you .
Guess 14 years is more than enough to get a 20year old Taxi sorted.

My love affair with cars last no longer than 1 year finished or unfinished they are sold due to boredom and another one bought!! its been this way since i bought my first car at 15 and still ongoing at the age of 26.
How you lot can keep a car so long puzzles me lol, maybe il change in a few years and just keep a car!!
