I'm pretty shocked that they've fired him to be honest, just makes it all the more obvious that they would rather ignore the truth and sweep it under the carpet if it doesn't suit their political agenda.

They would if they could, but they have been talking bollox for so long they cannot go back.
we have been brain washed for so long, if the goverment said right we are making drink a Class A and E legal 90% would think they are mad!!!
There is to much money to be made on drink tax!!!!!!!!!!!!

They band E, due to a test were they found brain damage, but after 5 other tests in the lancet found no damage at all they checked there results and found they tested the mice with a massive over dose of speed not MDMA work that one out.

The government likes to be seen as been against smoking and drinking with the occasional advert or help service but truth is they love alcohol and nicotine because they are a guaranteed tax, a tax that has people by the balls much more than petrol ever will (even if we do need to get to work). They can put it up to pretty much what they want and people would still buy.
People can say what they will about LSD or Ecstasy but the problems with drugs are a few things, physical affects, psychological and then the addictiveness on top, which for me is another thing not included in the first two even if some disagree. E and acid aren't addictive at all but alcohol and nicotine are HIGHLY ADDICTIVE yet legal. The guy is right but saying things like this are never going to go down to well on TV or in the papers because we all know what we are told is correct 100%, that E or LSD kills you instantly as soon as you have the first go, lol.
Heroin, Cocaine, Crack and the like are all mega dangerous no doubt but a big big part of the reason is because they are addictive not just because they can be fatal. I've said this before but junkies don't cause people pain when they break into their house and steal their hard earned TV, they don't mug people or steal Coffee, games, booze, batteries, razors and the like from super markets for E' money or acid blotter money. They do it for a cocaine or smack fix because they are addicted to it. The dirty women getting trapped and selling themselves on the streets to fund a habit, the list of issues is endless. At least with some drugs that are class A as we are told, you can quit when you want to or when you get board of it and find something else to do. I disagree with a lot of the drug classifications and its about time the government got some more people like this in because most of the experts rate MDMA as not being as dangerous as many of the class A's and even some legal drugs.
Booze and fags kill way way more per year than Ecstasy ever has done in its history in this country and before anyone starts with the whole "yes but their are more smokers and drinkers" ratio debate, well that's the point, addiction, its a massive problem in this country legal drug or not.

bit of topic but....
why are there never special offers on fags? your gettin 24 cans of tennents for a tenner at tesco.s this week.
the only problem i had with hash was getting shit done around the house!
not touched it for a long time now tho.
