Are they reliable then James or do they start to lose pressure over time like many of the cheap regulators out there?

Thats one of the key things IMHO, not just starting at a decent pressure and keeping the correct differential, but keeping it long term, thats where the 2wd ones also scored well

they are as good as a standard reg mate 100%

if they wernt up to the job we certainly wouldnt be selling them as replacements

and they fit EXACTLY as the std regs do, same size same shape, you can even use the std mounting bracket as the mount points are the same,

so now long term durability testing has also been done in a week

i'm just joking as when you buy parts from Weber (only one b Chip ) you are buying OE quality that you know has been tested, same as when you buy bosch etc. buy once and buy right

Yes you can, GGR sell these for the escort cosworth. The std and higher pressure versions. These look just like the esc cos fuel pressure regs, that are held in to the cast fuel rail by a steel circlip. But housed in an alloy casing.

V funny though.. post about dodgy regs earlier this week and now these new uber relible ones for sale! If I buy one will you throw in a free magnetic sump plug too? LOLOL

So do we. Much cheaper too.
However, we are talking about standard 2wd regs. And James is right, you cant buy them anymore.

Sorry if this causes offence but as I say I have nothing against MSD and what they do but the timing of this thread could be wrong.
Nothing to do with marketing mate. We simply had a spate of regs come in with the same old problems, James is new here and approached me saying can we look around to try and get something for him to fit as we are actually turning these cars away still faulty now as we have nothing to fix them with. I found these, ordered them, tested them, bought stock, created advert.

Sorry if this spoils your conspiracy theories. Feel free to fit a £20 ebay one that cant see boost.

For someone who joined on the 29th, you seem to know a lot about what happened last week

I never said The escort Cosworth DID use a 2wd reg... why would it!? I simply said that GGR sell THESE new advertised regs sans the alloy anodised holder

This new reg from motorsport developments doesnt use a 2wd reg either...

what is your point?

My point is:

James said: you cant buy a standard 2wd reg anymore
you said: yes you can, GGR sell the standard escort cosworth reg

James is correct, you cant get the standard 2wd one anymore.

I must correct you.. James said you cannot buy STD regs anymore. Not model specific and it was in this context that I quoted him on and replied to. We all know 2wd adjustable regs are NLA! infact find me one used with the adjustable cap still on! LOL

I said yes you can

I am correct, you can STILL buy STD regs. IE the escort cosworth units that fit in to the OE cast fuel rail via a circlip

as used in this new product range from motorsport developments

EDIT

LOLLOLOL , I just had 3 PM'S arrive advising me to ignore you and that you a twat... how funny!

James said you cant buy standard RWD regs, which you cant.

you can still buy standard honda prelude 2.2 vtec regs
you can still buy standard escort cosworth regs
you can still buy standard 1.6 mondeo regs

you CANT still buy the standard yb rwd regs though, like he said, and chatting about totally different regs is pretty pointless.

Very funny IMHO that some people take the internet so seriously and are so easily reduced to tears that if a nasty man says something that upsets the poor darlings they then go around talking about him behind his back forever more afterwards to total strangers
