Dont be fooled into buying and fitting substandard products by people selling them whom dont work on these cars. We have worked on these cars for in excess of ten years and only sell parts of known quality that we have personal experience of and regularly supply and fit ourselves in our workshop. A low quality fuel pressure regulator can destroy your engine very easily.

* The Bracket is not actually required on a 2wd Cosworth as this regulator will mount exactly where the original one was on the OE Ford Bracket.

does your sard fit in the std position?
these do, oe fitment...
not toyish at all, infact very nice units! using the uber reliable regulator units which we use to over 600bhp with no issues at all
these give people an oe fitment replacement, old reg off new reg on
without having to retro fit other regs, including the dreaded cheap ebay crap lol
one of THE best things about these imo, is the reg is not adjustable, so idiots cannot faf about with the pressure they know nothing about!

compared to the sard yes i think they do look toyish
and didnt want to offend just my opinion
and a simple fabricated bracket takes care of mounting the sard reg
at least they are genuine weber regs though
may i ask were the fitment is for the gauge take off is ??
just seems funny lol how last week it was the heads up on the dodgy ebay regs
now this week you are supplying these hahahah
is this a new marketing strategy then lol
create your own demand ,then supply and sell

im sure you can colour them any colour you like, they come apart easily they are also the same size as std regs, so quite nice and small
Why do they need a gauge?
these regs are preset so nobody can mess with the pressure!

its not strange, just the fact that we aim to help...you cant buy std regs, the thread last week made us realise there was a need for a oe replacement...and here we have one.

i know perfectly well how to fit a calibrated fuel pressure gauge into the fuel line between reg and rail mate
are you aware running a gauge full time is actually a bad idea? especially a cheap un calibrated item...

I agree that they are NLA for the 2wd ones, I havent been able to find one for ages.
Sadly I prefer adjustable ones though so these still dont help me, but they must be great news for your customers running one of your chips as it means its preset to the right value etc

I think the confusion is that he thinks that this contains a full webber adjustable reg exactly the same as a cossie one, when of course it doesnt and presumably just contains some webber parts?

PassionFord Post Whore!!
I have no reason at all to doubt MSD and my car runs one of their chips but bloody hell this is spooky, the ones they found may well have been dangerous but you don't go selling decent ones only a week later lol.
Sorry if this causes offence but as I say I have nothing against MSD and what they do but the timing of this thread could be wrong.

Looking at this from an outside business man exactly the same as most of the people on here.
You identify a weak item which is sold extremely cheaply on ebay, and my instant thought would be as a business man would be to get one in to test, and see how good it is (a supplier would most likely overnight it). Once the product is tested / evaluated, MSD decide it is a good idea to start stocking these and selling.
A week is not an unrealistic timeframe to get a product in and launched in business from identifying the gap in the market if you are not tooling up yourself for manufacture and simply purchasing it as a stock item.
Needless to say once I get around to the building back up of my car, I will be spending a large sum of money wtih a number of cosworth suppliers, and MSD is on the list for a few products

dear lord
i dont know why we bothered.
let me say this once because im not wasting my time again...
i had a few cars in with dodgy fuel pressure regs, so i posted up on here to warn people about them and the potential issues they could cause,
we were getting asked to supply new 2wd regs to customers on a daily basis.
so we worked to try and find an option which may help a few people out, as luck has it stu found these just a few days ago so we have since inspected them and are happy with the quality and happy to sell them.
so there you have it, oh my god what a drama
if you dont need a new reg this wont be of any interest to you, so go and read another thread and moan on there instead of killing this one

we simply tried to find a new item to fill the gap of a part that you cannot get any more to help out
comming from me personally, i know what its like to be on the other side, and struggle to get the bits you need these days, so im very keen to try and solve any problems i can,and search for products that are up to the job
i posted the other thread in my own time, and mentioned to stu that there was a real issue with good quality regs on sale that were actually trusted ans tested which he was more than aware of aswell, i know stu spent many hours over the last week sorting this out, and this is what happens
