what is this sierra RS new header tank? interesting read!

never seen one like this. is it for a sierra RS but the level sensor hole is in a different place. take a look at the 2 different pictures

this is the joker saying its a rs500 tank..............

its for a standard seirra 1.8

header tank is on the other side of the engine bay

Isnt that from a V6 engined sierra im sure they had the headertanks on the other side, its not a cosworth one.

the daft thing is the originals were a crap design which is why they bulged and split and also why Ford replaced them with the much better 4x4 one, yet people clammer for them.

Bit like the upper dash with the speaker vent, 3drs didnt even have a speaker in there

and they split to shit the minute the sun got on them, it soon got replaced on the mk 2 sierra which has a much better dash

I like originality but it can also be nuts some times.

Mark 1 Sierras had them - only the single speaker 'poverty spec' models actually had a speaker behind it.

The Mark 2s all had two speaker system.

paceo, the manky one as you put it is a standard 3dr cosworth item, the 500 one is exactly the same. just makes people think its work more.

rather than pay a grand for a second hand uncracked one, a lot of 3dr owners just fit a mk2 sierra one for £50, look identical, apart from they are better and dont have a hole to crack
