Mondeo ST24 head gaskets - Anyone done them??
As title.
I've got a feeling that the headgaskets are staring to play as it's using a bit of water and I've got the dreaded ticking noise coming from both banks. Also got an oil leak coming from between the head and block on the back bank.
I know a few people will think why bother with it but the car has only got 65k miles on it and drives so nice so it would be a shame to get shot of it.
Anyone?
Cheers!
Gary.

The dreaded V6 'tick' isn't always the HGs, and if it is it won't cause any water loss. So check carefully before you dive in. It could be an exhaust manifold gasket ticking and a leaky water pump or hose causing the water loss.
Would be worth having a compression test before you dive in as it's a lot of work, and a lot if gaskets if it turns out to not be the HGs.

I've done a pressure test on the cooling system and I haven't got any leaks anywhere plus I've got an oil leak between the block and head on the back bank.
I really can't be arsed to do it but on the other hand, I feel the car is too good to just let go to waste.

If you got an oil leak from the back bank it probably is the gasket. I've done them before and let me give you a tip.. take the engine out.. once that's done it's easy.
