.......fook me a lad at work has just bought a "500 bhp" scoob...........and it's SO NOT 500bhp.........i drove it today and honestly felt like a cossie on greens (st 2) would eat it alive......i told him it was a 300bhp car and he really needed to get it checked out.....he's got loads of receipts for big this n that and i cant see much of it on the actual car..........when driving it , it feels like it has a big turbo on it but running no boost.....only does about 10mpg and uses loads of oil.....didn't think scoobs used oil......i've told him to go to motoscope for a r/r print out to find out a bit more about the car/power/fueling.....

Used to have a Scubaru with I think MD240 turbo running soemthing like 20 psi, stainless decat front to rear, Wallbro fuelpump, piggyback ecu and probably something else I forgot about...very very nice to drive! Quicker than most things and without drama. Was a very smooth and quick car!

Get the spec list for us to have a look over? ...it really shouldn't be passing that much oil though, so thats a bit of a concern. A drive of a genuine 500bhp Impreza should be really impressive once wound up, certainly enough to think it wouldn't be hassled by a Stage 3 Saph.

Grant

It may be that the previous owner has had an engine capable of running 500bhp built for it, and just not had it set up...for some strange reason.

Try AET Turbos. Wakefield is maybe too far away from you though.
