GT30 on a cossie.......Talk to me.
What do I need? As in EVERYTHING I need? Also what size is the best to go for I'm looking for in the region of 450 with as little lag as possible. Would a GT3071r do? Do they do them in cossie fitment? Internal or External gate etc etc?
Cheers Lads!

all the bits are on the reyland website... get the whole lot as a kit .. drove mine for the first time with it all on and chuffed to bits with it... cant open it up properly as its only on a base map but its totally different from the t38 i had on it.. only down side is having to have a dump valve..

You have a GT3076 Not a 3071

Cheers for all the info lads. Im thinking 3071 .64 housing, will I need to externally gate it to prevent surge? Also I heard that the 3071 with T3 housings are not supported by Garret that they all originally come with t25 housings (sr20 fitment I think) and that they are modified to have the T3 housing, is that true?

slightly off topic
i had a gt3071 on my cossy and must say compared to the t35 .48 i had before it felt soo much better on boost in particular mid range to top end !!
my t35on a .48 spun up quickly but lost its pace towards top end were as the gt3071r with a .68 felt much stronger when on boost
also had the ported anti-surge housing also
shame the flange that holds the coldside compressor to the core snapped !!!
still have it in bits sat here perfectly good turbo ,just knackered due to core flange breaking off
shame really as back on t35 now lol

there is a circlip behind the cold side compressor that holds it on
the flange part of the core around this area sheared completely off
leaving me with a remotely mounted coldside housing ( ie sitting other side in the engine bay)
whilst my core and rest of turbo still in factory position
like i say shame as turbo is mint but as you cant refurb the internals on gt 30,s
only option is to buy a new core easier just buying another hahah
will post a cpl of pics later lol

1.8 bar boost
98RON fuel
std comp, jenspeed 500hp ported head, bp320ht cams, autronic sm4, rewelded inlet elbow, 2wd manifold + all the usual stuff, intercooler, exhaust, airfilter +++
it really needed an external wastegate at this point, internal was showing it's limits!!!

I dont have my graphs i can post up due to being at work. I have just had a look and they are not as close as i first thought but not miles apart[my mistake].
Both cars were run on a DD dyno. Mine is about 15-20bhp below 4800rpm but them makes that back. They are not the same obviously, but mine goes on to make more Torque and Bhp. Just thought it gives you another option using stuff you have already got, instead of having to buy a whole new turbo etc.
