lol

if ava choose a bleed valve for ya then cool but LEAVE IT ALONE
not hard to get few horsies on jitter with standard injectors bein bigger than cossie greens, the ic is pretty decent as standard but could be doin with front mounting.theres a limit of a bar of boost usually before engine internals upgrade time i believe but dont quote me on that
but i know that my car/martins car were pretty fast as they were and plenty fun get a decent clutch in and you got a quality road racer from lights, bends and fast enough in a straight line for most

ps not black

lambchop,

no way will a pulser get 235bhp at wheels cos that = 350bhp@ fly
with just zorst and 12 psi.
may be he has more moddes and 1.2 bar(17psi), cos to get low 12's he most have 350ishbhp@fly/ 235bhp@wheels
ps i have a video of me racin a proven 296bhp with 35 bhp nos 2 wd cossie, and i woz faster 40- 110, then he starts pullin back and passes

i aint under estimatin them , as owned one for 2 years and now my bro's got it.

On AVAs rollers i would estimate 235@ wheels to be no more than 280@ fly

Even as Gtir owner I find that hard to believe. You'd need 320bhp with a perfect run to get that time and 320bhp isn't going to happen on a standard turbo at 12psi without possibly a stroker engine and serious cams.

With 300bhp, my Gtir should be doing 12.29 at 109mph based on the site that says I should only be doing 13.21 with 246bhp when I can do 13dead.
If you both started off in the same gears, then yes you probably would have beaten him, as he was probably revving too low when he booted it. If you both booted it from the highest revs available at that speed it might have been different. Although having said that, I took my next door neighbours supposed 300+bhp Gtir out and it felt slower than mine with 60bhp less Problem is I have a close ratio (standard) box and I doubt you'd beat that to 130 (unless my limiter cuts in )

Fiesta Cossie= FWD? If so then yes, I know you'd be wheel spinning off the line, which is why I said the even on the road from a rolling start....
Using your figures the Gtir does 60-100 in 6.99secs and yours does it in 8.10secs (assuming fwd) so go figure Over 100mph you may have a chance to catch him when his aero dynamics are pants but then loose out at his higher power allows for a higher top speed. (guessing yours 145+ and him 155+)

i can remember a few years back at trax i had my rst running 230 bhp .. i out accelerated , overtook and out handled 5 pulsar thingys ... so i wasnt all that impressed on the track .. also on the road standing start yes they are quick but suffer emensly if you are cornering and remove power ...they tend to spin easily ..

all my times in sig is my 200bhp/230lbft xr2 turbo, Fwd. my cossie is a sub 11 sec 1/4 car.

you lose 27-33% thro transmission on 4WD,
dont mater on rollers, as the power at wheels is measure'd, bhp@fly is calculated
gtir's
std 220bhp@fly=150bhp@wheels=32% lost, nissan specs
my bro's 278@fly= 192@wheels=31% at power station rollers
my mates 294@fly=199@wheels=32% at pts rollers 20/3/04

so lambchops mates, known= 235bhp/wheels=@ 31% loss= 340 bhp@fly

my xr2tt 199bhp@fly=174bhp@wheels= 13% lost Fwd at pts rollers 20/3/04.

fast guy:
wen me and my mates race, we always go side by side, and always are in the best gear for speed for car, NOT same as each other. that would not be a full on race........
ask your peeps off gtir site, who saw it at pts gtir thrash day, and the ones who have seen it at the pod at usc 04, as i spoke to many of them.
also : R called J off the forum who is my bro.

ps close ratio std box aint really a std 245bhp gtir, cos that would only be a 13.2 1/4 car

So you got a 10sec cossie?
I'll ask, I was going to earlier but forgot.
Just to clarify, my Gtir is a Dakar (RB) model, the gearbox is close ratio as standard on that model, my car has a filter, exhaust and forge front mount and is running standard boost. So although not standard, only 25bhp over standard

dakar is the off white sort?

its got all the parts and spec to be a 10 sec car, but aint proven it yet, will hopefully do so in march time. see spec here:
https://passionford.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=39

t28 rst,
mine xr turbo had 13% trans losses, but have seen 11-20% on a rst,
so with 11%=230bhp@fly, or 20%=255bhp@fly
if we say yours had ave losses of 15%= 241bhp@fly, which is good for a 1.6 on t28@16psi, wots its full spec mate?

Mine's black. It was origionally thought they were all the one colour, but they are popping up in every colour. Obviously if you were going to pay Ł22k or what ever they were in Japan, you would have the option of some options
last bit edited as just saw the reference for someone else

Holtys car never seemed to run right after he bought it, got a fair btit of work done at MV and it was supposidly meant to make 200 @ the wheels but the next week at AVAs rolling road day it made 182 @ the wheels with 18psi on a 1.9, not that great at all.

Then it started to smoke badly after that and it resulted in the bottom end being fucked after MV had fitted a new turbo and head gasket prior to the rolling road day, at the end of the day it was a shed when he bought it( clean car ) but mechanical wise a shed.

The standard box if it was good would last you a good while but if you are putting big power throught it then it will be crap, a couple of laps then you will find it hard to get gears.

What kind of power will the car be putting out

Have got a 60k box (off blackdragons old S2) and will be using the internals from it in a mk3 casing.

Another what? Look on the GTiR board for user fire & skill. His GTiR made those figures. Not arguing about the figures, have my own opinion, but driven it, beat it so what do you say?
