Default Tube into london -help pls

I'm planning to travel in to London from Coventry tommorow,so where should I drive to,to get a tube in to London ?? (free parking? Safe parking?)

Also what's the best tube to get to be central to everywhere??

what route you taking to london?M1/M25?what part of london u looking to get to?covert garden/leicester(sp)square etc?

Probably m1 on to m25 but open to options.

Also as I haven't been to London for over 12 years I think maybe just central London,might pick up some bus when I get there

cool M25 junction 24 you want to come off which i think is only 3 from the M1 junction!you want to go to cockfosters station!its the piccadilly line and will take you right to into the west end fella

Post code of cockfosters is EN4 0DZ

then just get ya one day travel card and ya sorted

Parking wise no parking is free in London mate!! Your best off finding someone from here who's driveway you can park on!!

You can park on certain single yellows in Camden Town on saturday mate i leave my car there all weekend no problems and its 10mins on the tube from leicester square

I live on the end of the Metropolitan line in Uxbridge, Could park near me (free) and get a tube in, Tube to Central London from mine takes about 20 minutes.

On Saturdays after 1pm the parking is free in the City on non-red routes I think?

Get the train from Cov to Marylebone ( or it's more direct from Warwick Parkway which has better parking for " desirable " vehicles ) and then the worlds ya oyster mate

No point in driving down and THEN getting the train

Get on one end - " let the train take the strain " and get off feeling all chilled ready for a day in the smoke

Ok I hav. Just booked the train to euston instead,by the time I have driven,parked,caught tube time will be getting on.

Thanks for everyone help on this, I appreciate it.
