To be honest Martin this post does you know good at all

Looking at it with a readers opinion you should either have the balls to name them ( if you honestly have peoples well being at heart ) or dont post at all as all this post looks like is you either just want to big yourself up or want to try and put somone else down , and if thats not the case then name them

I have no gripe with you Martin im just saying it as it looks

Why didnt he just initialy go back to the original tuner when the car was under powered and driving badly??
Presume you have ben in touch with them to ask what the map is all about, and tell them you will be sending your bill for correcting it ??

As said above you need to name the tuners if you're that 'bothered' by their workmanship, however bad it is! A bit of a speculative thread imo that just causes people to guess who's work it is.

I think it would be 10X easier to work from a base map and tweak from there (assuming it was written for that engine and rough spec), having written my first ever map only a month or so ago from scratch!
Everything I learned before starting was from this forum and other internet resources and it currently looks like this......

Which IMO is 100X more polished than the map in this thread!
So someone with only a basic knowledge of mapping can still produce something that at least appears correct even if it is not perfect and a more experienced tuner could do much more with it.
forgive me for stating the obvious here, but what's going on with the left hand column pertaining to 250% values?
what are you measureing as th eonly thing that i can think of that would be over the 100% mark would be retalted to the forced induction side whenyou are talking abot pressures, everything else isn't

or is it?

Spot on dojj thats boost pressure, measured in kpa (kilopascals) 100kpa is atmospheric pressure and 250kpa is 21psi, 1psi = 6.8kpa, so under 100kpa is vacuum.

hes mapping against absoloute presure... thus its over 100% so theres enugh map there to go up to just over 20 psi boost
its how the cool kids do it no flow meters etc,: )

Would you like to tell us who has those parts then since you obviously know?

Seems like you know the thief, or had a hand in it to me.

i think its bad that blokes paid 3.5k for a bodge convesrion,

if i was in martins shoes is woulnt say the name either as he gets no gain from it

this is a perfect illistration of someone no knowing what there doin asking for a conversion and just payin reguardless without inspecting any work

if i was said bloke id be back at the tuners asking questions and wanting it fixed or making it plain that they will be gettin a bill from Rayland

but 3.5k is a joke!

i remember clearly when it got stolen as the pub is very close to my area. what people need to understand without saying were it was taken is a notorious area for car lifting, theft and crime really i think you can agree Bruce. if i remember correctly some of the parts on his car were so unique that a lot of people would recognise them if they come across them.

Didn't his inlet have a unique weld on it??

Think there is more chance of MAD stealing his car than Bruce doing the dodgy.

Sour grapes from MAD ignore it Bruce.
