A twin plate clutch will have a lighter pedal feel when compared to a similarly rated single plate clutch and will feel a bit more snatchy on engagement, aswell as being noisey/rattley until the clutch pedal is pressed.

Generally yes the twins are more..... snatchyer(?) and rattle like a bag of spanners, nothing to worry about though as after a few days you get used to it.
I'd certainly consider upgrading to hyd. clutch.

Yes, the twin plate on my Evo was heavier and snatchier than the AP 4 paddle on Pete McCrash's 4x4 Sapph, i was amazed at how nicely his car drove with that clutch!

I had a twin plate HKS in my subaru and it was less snatchier and a lot nicer pedal and pull away than the AP 4 paddle in my Escos.

Mine HASNT got a hyd clutch

To be honest i like cable clutches and i dont realy see ( other than a cable snapping ) why people go to hyd clutches as there a hassle to bleed etc that you dont get with a cable
