whats better a tamiya or the hpi? cos im looking at both around the same sorta price help please

Hobao hyper 7 mate. Ive got one and my bro has hpi one, mine is more reliable and faster. I have the .28 engine on think its the hyper7 TQ one. Build quallity is v-good and has taken a beating too

electric im on about i dont want a truggy or buggy want a touring car type one

Tamiya, get some good hop up's. set for Drift, racing etc. easy to work on plus you can get a kit for as little as Ł140

I had a TL-O1 years back, spent near on Ł300 on parts. Race bearings, alloy shocks etc.

Beat it all day (batterys permitting)
Lock the diffs, leccy tape on the tyres then have a blast.

Tempted to get one in the Jan sales when they do some offers.

yh mate tamiya is the way to go theres a few of us ppl here in essex we have some crazy tournaments its good fun mate. ive got 5 tamiya cars to my self each costing around Ł200

Here's my Tamiya TT-01 set up for drifting think it cost me about Ł400 including buying it to get it like this; soz about the quality of the photos taken with my camera phone:
