i have had this jaguar parked outside our house now for nearly 2 weeks. its not a car thats normaly up our area. it looks like its been abandond there. its taxed, but checked dvla and rac number plate checker, but plate dont come up. the stamp on the tax was done in merrsyside, and the cars in hampshire.

i have been informed that both front doors are unlocked to.

anyway of trying to find any details of the car, or if its on a stollen list?

Inform the Police, though if its all taxed there is not a lot they can do. Maybe if it shows no insurance they can sieze it.

As an upstanding citizen I would check to see if doors are open, have a shufty round inside to see if there is anything super dodgy in there, then lock it up nice and safe.

Does the numberplate written on the tax disc match the car?

just checked on the insurance database, and the number plates for a merc. Also looked at the tax disc, and thats a different number plate to one the car, and checked that on dvla, and its defo for the jag, so plate have been stollen and put on the jag and the stoll the jag to.

police have been informed now

shame really, as its in great nick, and no damage at all to it. hopefully it can be returned to its owner

Dont worry, i haven`t touch it for that reason, if i did, i would ware gloves.

will get some pics when i get home, if its still there as police never came out last night, so may turn up today.

Give the old bill a call and tell them there is a stolen jag outside you gaff that is filled with donuts that are due to go out of date tomorrow.
