Default HELP! NOS refills

anyone know of a company in the south wales area that refills NOS bottles? i am fitting a kit to my XR4i with a 24v cosworth lump and need the bottle filled before saturday so i can test it on the rolling road at interpro.

Assuming its a wizards of nos kit (other kits are different fittings and they may not have adaptors to suit)

thanks mate i'll give them a try, it's a holley N.O.S. kit it is i don't know if they use the same fittings as wizards of nos?

No they dont, but that place may have an adaptor.

Better still, sell your kit and buy a wizards one

just gave them a ring now and they said it shouldn't be a problem with that kit, i'll pop itdown for them to take a look! thanks for the advice!

well they were able to fill it after all! got me out of a jam mate thanks! i'll give this kit a try and if it's not much good i'll swap it for a wizards system!

whats the difference in the kits? im assuming one flows better than the other a mate of mine had a gto t/t @ 650 bhp 730 torques but it had nos the bottle was empty and he wouldent have it filled coz he was scared of it i dont know if the figures were with or without nos but it was scary fast

Its not just about flow, its about the way that power is delivered too, and how reliable the solenoids are.

You can rent a full size NOS bottle, ie industrial cylinder and fill your own, just don't let the neighbours know what's in the garage.

well got to find out if the kit was any good or not yesterday when it went on the rollers at interpro, it was a shootout day for fast ford, fair play the kit worked spot on! i was hoping the kit would perform well and the kits are massive in America the car went from 197bhp to 244bhp can't remember the exact figure of the torque but it was something like 200 lb-ft to 270lb-ft with the nos! the operator said the kit was running spot on and it feels awesome when using it on the road!
