I swear I will make this meet soon especially as I only work round the corner

 

People normally arrive at about 8:30, I personally tend to be there earlier though as I work nearby and its not worth me going home first generally.

 

I'd quite like to come if I am welcome ??
Not got anything special ( piece of shit C4 VTR+ company car at the moment ) but am sooooo into Fast Fords and have been since god was a boy !!
Would I be alright to turn up or would I end up looking like " Norman no-mates " LOL

I will be in my audi a4 daily driver shitter, as I always am at this meet, ive always been made welcome.

Its only a fairly small meet at this time of year anyway, so tends to be friendly.

Just make sure you introduce yourself, as others arent likely to wander up to you and talk to you if you dont TBH as they will just talk to who they normally do.

I'm 6ft, stocky build, shaved head, uglier than is fair, and will be in a black european rallycross top, so feel free to talk to me if you spot me and i'll introduce you to others.

Dave is similar descripion but a couple of inches taller and even uglier, and will probably be driving his 711bhp escos by the sounds of it, im sure he'll be equally approachable, as will just about anyone else

No, it's cause I'm a pansy and don't get the car out in the rain. Don't want all the crap all in the engine.
There are no French electrics. I wired the whole car myself.

dave your car is just silly, when you came past it sounded soo good.
hopefully i can get a few more hp out of mine and it will be a bit more fun on the way home.

 

500bhp in yours, which should be pretty easy to get, and I reckon it will give Dave a pretty good run for his money upto about the top of your 3rd gear.

Less transmission loss and less weight, not to mention less frontal area and minus drag from the spoiler gives yours a lot of advantages against Daves.

Ultimately though, at higher speeds, that 711bhp is going to be winning through course!

im wondering if for 1/4m id be better off launchin in 2nd with the launch control and anti lag on.
i guess it will be trial and error to find out.
