Default Crunchy Nut "Trolley" advert, your thoughts?

Don't know about you guys, but I think the advert is just wrong, to the point where I have actually complained about it to the ASA.

In the Kelloggs' Crunchy nut "trolley" advert I feel it is in appropriate to:
1) Show a baby happily bouncing down a set of stairs - this could easily encourage children to push babies/children in trolleys down stairs.. The potential for injury/death is quite considerable for any human let alone an infant.

2) I feel it is ridiculous to imply that anything, in particular a box of Crunchy Nut is more important then a babies life.
If you wish to do the same...
http://www.asa.org.uk/asa/how_to_com...mplaints_form/

If you've not seen it..

i dont see much wrong with it.

As the baby was toppling over the first step i felt wierd as i have kids and imagined maybe it could be them.

Although i didnt think it was bad. Certainly not enough to complain

And yes blokes face is funny!!

god....its an advert! like anyone is gonna watch that and think "oh i know what ill do ill follow the kelloggs ad and do the same" .....

adverts cant be blamed for influencing their lives to that degree...just cos the advert makes out that their cereal is the best blah blah does everyone have it in their house?! no!

It is an advertisement for a product not a suggestion that people should not look after their babies responsibly.

There are so many people in the world that wish to twist the whole meaning behind advertisements.

Some I admit are borderline but it never once crossed my mind that if I was in that situation I should definitely save the Crunchy nut.

You sad sad sad little man!

That was an advert?

I thought it was to encourage people to save babies in runaway trolleys!

Ah fair enough. My thoughts on it are probably slightly biased against it, but I guess it all goes on life experience.

I would be more worried about my kids watching a violent film or playing a game on an Xbox or something that has a violent nature.

I thought they missed a trick at the end of the advert where they don't show the babys' trolley start running down the rest of the stairs after he's saved the cereal.

The Aussies used a great big train in theirs, not a wee woossy set of stairs.

Oh wait, that one was real?
