Default should i break my cars

Please help i have the following cars:
'88 F reg 2wd saff - rebuild, nearly finished although still needs some work
Fiesta RS Turbo - im the 2nd owner. All original parts except the alarm. Still has the wax sticker from when it was brand new. Needs a complete restore (rust)
I also have 2 garages full of RS bits.

I dont know whether to sell everything (whole or broken - worth more money in bits) as i want to buy my childhood dream - an imperial blue escort cosworth.

I would appreciate any help advice you might have.
Thanks

Weather you break them or sell them whole i dont see that raising enough for an imperial escos.

They are generally always 13K plus hpi clear when they come up...

I personally would break as fiesta is worth fook all. Saff even if it was mint is 6K depending on spec

Im sorry but Escos are not depreciating mate, Im constantly looking, even more now im back on lookout for possibly another.

The good ones are still commanding 13-15K

try escortrscosworth.com

you will always see cars which need work/history missing high owners etc etc around 9-10K.

Its each to there own.

As said im having a look around again just as i was 4 months ago and there actually less cheap ones now than there was then.

Thats an optimisitic valuatiuon.

Its possible but you would have to sell everything you have which is Hard as you are always left with stuff.

A rebuilt standard cossie engine is 2.5K at the very most, Shell is worth under £500 most of the time.

Also 9500 for an imperial blue escos is also optomistic.

I think youre looking at a rough mallard one at that money.

All the best though, A lot of people actually prefer a 2wd saff so maybe its best to do what the other guy is saying and get it finsihed.

lol good advice.

Other than the 3 door bit!

You would get a decent 3 door at 9500 so it may be worth thinking about though.

i feel you will find that both parts a good advise especially the 3 door part the original and best

Think you will be hard pushed to find a decent spec/good condition one with history for 9.5k tho they seem to be in at least the 12k bracket now

i bought that car and it was well worth it imo, it did need a bit of work here and there but that was reflected in the price.

i sold it now and bought Carlo's 3 door, another car well worth the money.

you can get some really nice 3 doors for around £10k ish,but if you are after an escort for the same money then be prepared to get a car that needs a bit of work etc...

i would break the cars and sell the parts then see where you are money wise, then see whats about.
