Two things, that bugg the hell out of me,

Removing the gearbox on a S2. pain in the fucking arse, comes off fine, but then never ever goes back on. wanking things.

Also on a S2, MFI engine behind the inlet, there is a pipe that runs from the top of the inlet to the bottem of the head, which is for air, they normaly crack due to heat and there a fucker to change.so fiddly.

I hate changing the petrol - It's far too expensive

Seriously though, nothing that much of a PITA on a Cossie bar the heater matrix, handbrake cable, steering column bush, front diff and clutch pedal quadrant can be all be tarts of a job to do mainly because they are time consuming instead of fiddley.

Head gasket is a piece of cake on a Cossie - minimal fuss and very easy to do

It's just lifting the head is a twat with the turbo still attatched unless you use some lifting equipment

There's a few jobs that piss me off but I think the one that takes the biscuit for me has to be doing any work on the doors on a Seat Altea/Toledo/Leon (current shape). The window regulator is part of the door trim panel and is fiddly as fuck to remove and refit and quite difficult to get it back on 100% perfectly without a lot of farting around!

Always used to hate doing Leon Cupra R cambelts and water pumps! The engine mount is an arsehole to get in and out! Turbo's on them aren't to nice to change either!
