I want to have digital radio in the car so i can listen to the stations like 1xtra i dont want to buy a new headunit because mine is fairly new as it is, its a Pioneer DEH-P700BT if that helps anyone!

Couple of places local to me are selling some kind of plug in unit to get digital in the car, think one of them is made by Pure.

Thats the pure one... think it receives the digital signal then re transmits it on fm with the built in fm transmitter so you can tun your car radio into it

Mega, if you could find out a little more that would be fantastic, im not that far from ipswich so i could always make the trip to buy one!

Thats pretty cool, would be better if you didnt have to control it from another unit though, i would like to be able to control it on my headunit like a normal radio station, maybe connected into the Aux or somthing!

I'm the same, i've got a pioneer avic-x1 flip out dvd with the nav/gps/tv add on etc. it's a year or so old but i want dab on that. is there a can or bus device of sumthin i can plug into the hideaway unit?

after doing quick research, it has both AV bus in and IP bus in, so i can have freeview and DAB. all i need to find is units suitable.

BUT
when the got that asshole Westwood to join them last week I nearly through the radio out the window. He's now on 4-7 everyday and I have to turn it over now.
He is the biggest tosser going.

As you are not a million miles from Wickham Market try Fullers on the industrial estate, speak to BOB, these are the UK HQ for Kenwood repair, and where I took my 855 yesterday, they also do pretty much all other makes, and also sell b grades, bob will at least know if any can do what you ask, he also does pioneer repairs supply etc.
