My new Intercooler & Radiator from Spec-r
Have not mentioned my rebuild in GD for a very long time but thought these were worthy of showing away from my restoration thread. Im chuffed with them .
I specified the colour/finish & it was to be a one off but seeing the results, Pete told me he will now offer this finish in an 'Elite' option range.
Designed to be efficient & using a 1000bhp core it will perform as good as it looks im sure.
The Tanks, Breather, Airbox, Hanger, Strut-Brace & all pipes are now this colour, specified cos i look shite in sun glasses when peering under the bonnet, as you can tell I love the design & the concept.

It looks very nice in the flesh Dropped mine off at Petes last Friday, picking up this Friday ready for the rolling road shoot out at Sheadys rolling road man this Saturday. He's replacing all the alloy stuff under the bonnet. Can't wait to see what it's going to look like, should be special

I think they look good, but wouldn't personally have the "Spec R" showing. Obviously your advertising their company for them, so it works for you How efficient are they Rod?? Better than other make ones?

Rod out of interest why didnt you wanna get AH to do the mod the cores you got etc... i think they could have done something better than that with them tbh not that it looks bad at all , i just think alex could have improved on what i can see... As i know you were toying with the idea??

Looks good. Logo looks terrible. Thought you wanted subtle?
I still dont understand why it took so long. Didnt pro alloy have andy g a full new intercooler/rad set up done within a week or 2 when he had that shunt?
