Default Rouse rear spoiler, more aerodynamic, more downforce

whats the idea behind the Rouse rear boot spoiler for tha sapphire, is it more aerodynamic or less than the std item, does it produce more or less downforce if any than the OE item or is it just different? If I had the option of a lightweight std or Rouse spoiler and I want to improve my cars performance would there be an advantage to using either type of spoiler or just leave one off totally?

i would imagine it would give more downforce as Rouse fitted the rs500 type splitter on the front....why....more downforce maybe lol.

The idea of the front rouse splitter is to channel more air into the intercooler

Does a standard saph spolier actually create any noticeable downforce? Or does it create more drag than downforce

Funny you should say that, The Orion was never deisgned with a spoiler, but the RS option kit spoiler on that creates LIFT!

Pfft, less weight then! You'll shave at least a second off your 1/4 mile with an onion rear spoiler!

It is!

Would like to see that. The normal Saph one suits the MK2 Orion really well, would be interesting to see how the Rouse one looked!
