As much as i hate liverpool i was hoping they'd do Utd a favour today and beat Chelsea but no such luck.

Still excellent seeing them lose though, silly boys.

oh works going to be a riot tomorrow as all my workmates support Liverpool ROFL.

Will be all doom and gloom about how the season is over and that maybe Rafa should be sacked... that is until the next game Liverpool win when they will be "challenging" for the title again..

There is no shame in losing to Chelsea, however I would be embarrased at scraping a lucky draw against Sunderland.....

Nail on head.

Rafa needs to sort his head out.

Seem's Skeg only posts when Liverpool loses, he gets under that rock when Man U don't do so well.

Liverpool are who i support but i have to be honest and say our squad is absolutely shocking now.

We have about 5 good players, reina, cara (debateable at the min),Gerrard,Torres,Mascherano. The rest are dog shit, rafa cant complain though because besides gerrard and carra who came from the youth setup before he arrived they are ALL his signings!

It has to be his head on the chopping block this season imo.

cara is VERY debatable unfortunately nd would be horrible to see a pool legend go down the pan. Looks v ropey so far this yr Aggers fitness could see him out on the bench.

You forgot Glen Johnson from the good players list. I think he has been an excellent buy

Oh and another...Lucas........YEAH RIGHT

I'm gonna have to stop reading this site when it come to football!

How is our squad shit? yesterdays game was very very close! decided on one piece of good play (the second goal only came about when we were stretched searching for an equalizer).

If we can play that well against every other team in the league then we'll have a decent season!

As for winning the league, i dont think anyone can truly believe it will be our year, Rafa is working under serious constraints with the owners who failed to give him a single penny of transfer funds (all money spent was recouped from player sales) and its clear he's not been able to bring in all of his targets.

One thing is for sure this year imo, every team in the top four will drop more points than last year....so i wouldnt get too smart this early on!

For the record, Utd have looked very very average all season long! Shown up by Sunderland and Burnley already!

It is ironic that the team everyone wrote off at the start of the season look very dangerous, I think Arsenal could be in for a good season....

Not impossible to stop, yellow then red, if not spotted by the ref then an FA panel review the footage and apply 3 match ban from all competitions, increasing by 2 matches each time the player does it. Simple.

You'd think so, but look at the Eduardo incident against Celtic.

A complete stonewall 100% Dive, ok it took a replay to be sure that he dived but i dont think a single person who has seen the replays would say that there was contact.

Yet UEFA decide to overturn the ban?? What does that say?

I know its a dangerous precident to ban people retrospectively, but it still deserves punishment!

As I said to you last season when you were top (giving it large), United often start poorly compared to the other big teams. We actually have one point MORE than last year and have scored far more goals and don't forget this is a draw at home 8 games in against an improved side, with cash and an ex captain of ours, wheras last season we drew the first game at home to Newcastle who went down. Actually come to think of it didn't we score a late minute goal against Sunderland at OT last season when they had that muppet Ricky Sbragia in charge? We really struggled that day attack wise.

I agree we have been average but its the defence as well as trying to bed in a new keeper due to injury. Don't forget it was arguably the record breaking defence + keeper last year that won us the title.

Regarding Drogba, I probably hate him more than any other Premiership player. Diving is one thing, play acting is far worse IMO.

The thing is mate, every team seems to be in a different situation to where they were last year, we are probably weaker, so are you...Chelsea look strong at the moment but will fade IMO come African Nations time.

Its way too early to be worried or be making predictions.

Drogba is fast overtaking Gary Neville!! lol ( probably only cos i dont see as much as Neville nowadays! )

As a side line, did any one watch Real Madrid at the weekend? fuck me how shit are they at the back! they were poor last year but christ they were shocking!

Only seen some small goal clips on ITV's Cl highlights show so far but promised myself I would watch a few like before when Beckham moved. How's Bezema looking?
