Easy mate leave rad in. Just jack front of car up and put the inter cooler up that way and then u can get under neath it to bolt the intercooler in. Easy peasy mate

go to the scrapy and remove the bolts from a Seirra that holts the rad in and also the rubber bushes failing that go get some long bolts Iron mongers NOT TILL MONDAY THOU
I also done it without removing BUT for the time it takes you may as well as it is very easy to damage the rad as you wiggle the i/c into it's place

got the bloody thing on
Had to cut the turbo to i/c hose in the middle to shorten it,and at the end to change the angle.
The cold side i got a focus hose with a bit of a shimy and a shamy in it ,cut it down in the middle and re located the d/v as far back against the throtle bracket as i could.Allowing for the shamy bit to join to the cooler.
What i did find was a hose kit off a scooby with a 90deg bend and a reducer, and a cold side pipe identical to the focus one, this would have meant hoses where all the same colour .
But the kit was 70 quid, where as the focus hose and a conector cost me a tener
This will do me to get the car back on the road ,till i can sort something out
