Can anyone tell me what cars the bdg motor was in please, i'm guessing the old mk1 rs1800 etc? and also what would a good set of standard carbs be worth these days.

i have a feeling that the rs1800s (which are mk2 by the way) were on injection.
(slide rail maybe?)

Think the BDG was just built for racing/Rallying was it not. Would Imagine the price of the carbs would depend on the make and what size they are

Yeah, was gonna say the same, proprietary slide throttle bodies for use with an injection system

Most of the BD powered race cars used injection systems, either Lucas or Kugelfischer so they're probably for use with one of them.

pm me an offer mate and i'll pas it onto him and see what he says if you like, he's undecided if he is going to mod them for his honda build or sell them again. Personally i'd prefer them to go back on a ford as they must be rare and him cutting them up aint going to help the rareness lol

They can be adapted to run a modern EFi, we look after a car with a slide and DTA, has some low impedance Jag injectors....

Slides are ok just a little short on travel resulting in a throttle that's either on or off, ok on a race/rally car a little aggresive in a road car...

I know a guy who still produces these although as said they are a little rare...
