Default fuel leak

i have a leak on the fuel pressure regulator on my cosworth
what material is best to use to stop leaking this?

i have made myself a gasket, seal or pressure ring (whatever that thing calls) out of some special papermaterial but it doesn't do the job

the original seals are no longer available from FORD Belgium so what's next? maybe they are still available within the U.K. ??

any suggestion welcome.

thx in advance

where exactly is it leaking from? there it mounts to the rail on the O-Ring?

if so are you aware that you can buy 2 types of ) ring, ones that are petrol resistant (the right kind) and ones that aint (and fall apart witin days and piss fuel everywhere)

or have you dismantled yours and now cant get it to seal back together properly?

Considering how dangerous fuel leaks are and how cheap a new pressure reg is, I would only advise buying a new reg, not trying to fix a leaking one!!!!

yep i did during the rebuild

it's leaking on the underside of the fuel pres regulator on the fuel return line.
the fuel pressure regulator is mounted on a metal square plate and there should be, like you said, a petrol resistant ring. that ring i have made isn't a fuel resisant one. so now i need a fuel resistant one i guess

cheeRS mate
