Default performance ford: an updated review

since my last review during 2008 (which lead to some arguing with people who i think i've made up with again ) i purchased another copy the other day as the shop didn't have a copy of redline

and what i can say is that the mag IS better than i remember it to be, i especially like the non box out box outs, and relocating the tech pages is also a good move from a presentation point of view

the only obvious "discovery" i've found is the omission of rod's saph from the listings, even though there is a pic of him being the fastest cossie ever and martins non 20 mph run (although i can understand that these figures are from "real world collected by pf testers" types)

so, in summary, room for improvement but good work keep it up

maybe the invisable fairiers invisablises the second "zero" on that post

and as for reveiwing the mags, who else is going to if i don't? at least it's good feedback to the guys who work for them rather than just not buying teh mag because it's shit/available info on the internet etc

they are supposed to go out there with the idea of making their publication "the best" not "we need a mag in a few weeks, let's cobble stuff together in time" like it appeared they were doing a while ago

on another note, has mel had the baby yet or not/? i might have missed it if she did

btw, if dan's reading this, postal strike i think is putting a delay on what you were supposed to have sent mate

a layout change does a whole lot of good to the look of the mag, a subtle facelift every couple of years means that it's different without being worse/better

besides, if you have mags vying for features then you either think "i;ll wait for the "better" mag to come a knocking, and they may not, or you think you'll go for the quicker option if that's the case, then again, they may not either

and now you've made it clear you were shocked they can take the feedback back to the feedback people who look at the feedback and then do something about it, or not as the case may be

but if you just stopped buying the mag then who owuld know? no one

on the flip side, i thought that a mag geared towards engine swaps meant that there was going to be a disticnt posibility that you'd see the same swaps over and over again

so it's even

i think i'll buy next motnhs pf as well to see how things are going

Not really true
The 0-60 is the yardstick in the new lists, mine only recorded 4.09 back then so dont make the list.
