Unhappy caught for speeding!

i've just had a letter through saying i was caught speeding in my work van. the only trouble is that i can remember driving and didn't see the sneaky van untill the last minute and thought i had been cought BUT im not sure it was this occasion that i have been done for!!
this means that im now worried that i have another one on its way through which will put me on 12 points. the one that has come through was for 37mph in a 30 zone and i think the other was about the same.

does anybody know anyway to find out if any is pending or do i just have to sit tight with my fingers crossed and hope it doesnt come through the door???

When did the 'possible offence' happen? They need to issue a Notice of Intended Prosecution within 14 days of the offence. So if you've got nothing through within 3 weeks you're in the clear.

unless its possible to dodge the punishment because several people from your work might have been driving at the time.... i got off with one years ago because although the van was mainly mine through the work the other guy was taking shots on a long journey home and we couldnt be sure who was driving at that precise time.
otherwise your fucked.

Dan does the 14 day rule still stand if you get caught in a leased company vehicle because i know it can take a fair bit longer to get tot the right person, a few collegues have been caught and usually takes a month to get to us

No, they have to ISSUE the NIP to the registered keeper within 14 days (i.e post it). It then becomes the owner of the vehicles responsibility to inform them as to who was driving at the time.
