Dont be daft, Christian is a big boy and can think for himself.
The only effect this forum had on his car I suspect was helping to inspire him to build it to the standard he did in the first place as so many people were so supportive of it.
nobody has said anything about christians car.you have got it mixed up.its two different carshttps://passionford.com/forum/genera...s-the-car.html

The end of my RS Turbo. I’ve lost the love and am craving something modern and sensible. This has been one of the most difficult decisions I have ever made, it’s been with me for over 10 years and we’ve been through a lot together.
Does it not occur to you that a couple of days ago he was posting about getting married and starting a new chapter in his life, and possibly that had more to do with his decision to move on than a post on a forum

The end of my RS Turbo. Ive been so hurt and influenced by pointless opinions on an internet forum, that I can no longer continue and must break the car in a vain attempt to gain the approval of countless people I've never met. This has been one of the most difficult decisions I have ever made, its been with me for over 10 years and weve been through a lot together, but I need so badly to fit in, that I must succumb to the will of pf.

Life moves on and puberty eventually sets in
C+B's RST has been an inspiration, even back when I had one which seems like donkeys ago but there are better things out there and no matter how fast in a straight line it is and I dont mean that in a derogatory way, you have to see the light one day.

What I want to know is, why is the OP so upset over this car being broke, then the owner isn't?
His posts read like he's almost on the verge of being violently upset about it, like it's a personal insult, or a travesty...
Genuinely confused!

There are a few others I like, but not enough that I would want to own them really.
Fear that the car you idolise isn't as great as you thought I suppose. Feelings of loss, needing, being helpless. Ford blinkers can effect you that way.

G2RSR, I appreciate your support man, but it's just a coincidence.
I've been teetering on the edge of doing this for some time and we are approaching the time where the can't can't be used so much anyway and I STILL have barely used it.
I just don't have the time/patience any more to do it, getting so little out in terms of real usage.
I know I might end up regretting it, but its a risk I've got to take.
Thanks everyone. LOL, and yes it is just a car!!
