Angry lost parcel?

i sent my turbo to a guy in ireland.it was collected from my house already boxed with the address written clearly on the box.it didnt arrive but a box of other worthless crap did.now they are saying the driver mixed the labels up and 3 boxes were signed for at another address and the recipient has the turbo but has not been in contact about returning it.they said they were insured for £10 a kilo which maybe would come to about £200.the turbo sold for £510 so if this is the road im forced to go down where do i stand as its 100% their fault that its at the wrong address!

no,didnt insure it as i thought with a private courier it would not get lost like with the post office.they have tried to contact the guy who signed for it but supposedly my wife received a call telling her they have a parcel for her so im wondering if the muppets picked it up from my house then tried to deliver it back.now its sitting in some unclaimed parcels depot.
