Default Any one work for ford

Hi i need a ford tec to build up a replacement lock using a ford repair kit i have been told they are a nightmare to build up its for the fuel filler cap

I was gonna say take a pick of your car and i would tell you the key number but thats not a good idea lol.Ive rebuilt a few key barrels and they are easy to do.Just count how deep the cuts are in the key then you will get you key number. There are five notches in the key.You start at the end closest to the plastic part of the key The lower the notch is the number is a 4 on so on.

have you got the old lock? if so you could take it apart & copy it with the new kit, or if yours is seizing you may be able to free it off with oil then spraygrease it.
